Qualifications: Must be parishioners of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, have received First Holy Communion and be at least in the fourth grade. Training required.
Description:The Broadcast Ministry comprises a group of people who are excited about delivering the Mass to those who cannot attend or who want to experience the Mass from home. It’s a critical and important ministry that uses video and audio equipment and easy software to present both live broadcasts and recordings of the Mass and other celebrations.
When: The Saturday 4pm vigil Mass is broadcast and recorded each week. One member is assigned each week on a rotating sign up. The assigned member should arrive at least by 3:45 to confirm that everything is on and setup. The broadcast ends when Mass is concluded. No additional work is required outside of the broadcast session
Where: The broadcasting occurs from the church choir loft.
