First Communion is celebrated in the Spring of the second grade.  Children attend the Parish Religious Education Program during the school  year. 

To receive First Communion in second grade, your child must be registered in the parish PSR program in the first grade in order to receive two consecutive years of Religious Education.

Parents are required to attend two special parent meetings and the First Communion retreat with their child.

• First Communion candidates must have 2 years of consecutive Religious Education in order to receive the Sacrament. 

• Attendance in class and Mass every Sunday is a necessity to receive the sacrament. 

• Reception of the Sacrament of Reconciliation is required in the spring prior to First Holy Communion.

• Attendance at the First Communion retreat is required in the spring.
